Some time ago I found a new “Tournaments” tab in my account. I’ve taken part in one of those, and it blew my mind.

I’ve never thought that making money can be that easy and funny.

Every 3 hours appear free tournaments so you can check them out, it’s very interesting.

Why? The reason is that you invest only your time, and gain real money back on it, even if you’re the 8th from the end of a tournament. Even if you lose all your tournament money, you can refill it as many times as you want and continue to compete for the first place.

How does it work?

First, you join a tournament. It’s easy and free.

You can check how many traders are already in the game.

For example, 150 traders compete for their stake and 8 money prizes.

How much money can you get for free? (I know it sounds engaging). The prize table looks like this:

№1 = $8,75, №2 = $5, №3 = $3,75, №4 = $2,5 and from №5 to №8 is $1,25.

So even in worst case you lose nothing and win much more times than initially invested!

The real reward is not only about the money which you’ll get for free. The reward is to be the best! Not only in comparison with the others but in comparison with yourself in the past.

The main advantage is that you can trade a lot and test a lot of strategies to sharpen your trading skill and turn it into the market cutting blade. Later you may want to use these strategies to compete with other traders, set up goals and reach the top.

Is there a strategy, that can be a competitive advantage for you at the beginning of a tournament?

Most of the traders tried to find a perfect game plan and here I can give you some ideas that provide you with a practical result.

The first rule is to play double! That means you should stake a maximum sum of coins as you can to double your position as fast as you can. It’s kinda risky in regular trading, but in tournaments, where a number of refills are infinite it’s a winning factor.

The second rule is to track tournament list and update it every minute. Traders who track results of the other traders know how much should they win to take one of 8 prize places.

The third rule is to use not more than a couple of indicators (better to have only one). If you have many different indicators you may become confused about what should you do and make a mistake, which means you’ll have to start from the beginning. Of course, it’s free, but you will spend time, which is against you.

The fourth rule is called “2^11”, which means that between $2 and $2048 are only 11 doubles. If you can make it, you’ll win.

The fifth rule is to make money as fast as you can. It means that you should work out a good strategy and know how to make good high profitable trades or you should perform trades as fast as you can.

The sixth rule is to trade until the whole time is up. You can win even at the last second.

Let’s watch how these rules work in a real tournament.

When I just joined the tournament, made one trade and get extra 8000 tournament coins I was already 25th out of 144.

As you can see, in order to be at least the 8th you need to make just 4 successful trades. You should track how other traders gain their profits and make it a bit more efficiently. If you make 8 successful trades in a row it means that you have a 90% chance to finish the tournament with profits and get money. At that point, you can stop.

In this tournament in order to be the 1st, you should make exactly 8 successful trades in a row.

To be the 2nd - 7 successful trades in a row.

To be the 3rd - 6,7 trades in a row

To be the 4th - 6,36 trades in a row

To be between №5 and №8 you need just 5 trades in a row

As you can see, all of these rules work perfectly in this tournament:

1) Just 8 successful trades in a row will bring you on top (the rule 2^11)

2) Doubling your position helps you to become a winner faster (at least 1,16 times faster)

3) Tracking other traders success allows you to find a better way to win. You acquire the experience and begin to understand which way is better and when you can stop.

4) Use as least indicators as you can. It allows you to make decisions with lowest operational risk.

5) Use as least time as you can for operations. Time works against you, but do not forget about efficiency. In other words, you need just 4 minutes of success to win.

All these make this strategy perfect to become successful in tournaments.
